Frequently Asked Questions

Where are you located?
My private workshop is located in Attleborough, South Norfolk.
How do we book a wedding consultation?
Firstly you will need to fill in the wedding enquiry form located on the weddings page. After you have completed this, I will get in touch with you to organise a date and time to meet via Teams video call for your wedding consultation.
What should I bring to a consultation?
Before you book your consultation, you ideally need to have your chosen colour palette along with details of your venue. I will need this information to help choose the best flower combinations for you on your big day. Please also send any photos or mood boards of your floral inspiration, images of your dress and the bridesmaid's dresses, or any swatches of the dress material, desired colour palette or anything else you can think of that will help.
How does a wedding consultation work?
I love getting to know my couples and hear all about their wedding plans! Consultations usually take about an hour and are a perfect opportunity for you to talk through all your floral ideas, inspirations, colour schemes, styles and flower availability for your special day. If you need any help and advice I am here to guide you with ideas for your flowers. Quotes are usually sent out the same day, with a 7 day window to confirm and book me as your wedding florist.
Do you have a minimum spend?
I have a minimum spend of £1,500.
Why do you have a minimum spend?
There are a number of reasons why I have a minimum spend in place. Firstly, I base my wedding work around designing and creating high end arrangements, using premium and luxury flowers. Some which include Garden Roses, Hydrangea, Peonies, Protea and large Delphinium. As I'm sure many of you already know, fresh flowers are not cheap to buy. My aim is to make your wedding flowers as breath taking and romantic as possible by incorporating lots of different textures which are inspired by British country gardens and its beautiful surroundings.
Secondly, I am not a flower shop that can sell excess flowers to the public. I, like all other florists have to buy flowers and foliage in wholesale quantities. If a client is only requesting a couple of bouquets, I cannot re-sell any extra flowers that don't get used and unfortunately are wasted.
Lastly, but most importantly, having a minimum spend allows me to give you quality customer service. Some florists will not have a minimum spend, but will take on 5, 10, maybe even more weddings in one weekend. Whilst it may work for some, it doesn't work for everyone, and I would never want my clients to feel like they are on a 'conveyor belt' waiting to be next in line for their wedding flowers. Having a minimum spend in place allows me to give more attention to detail for up to 2 weddings at the weekend and create the most beautiful flowers for them, rather than rush multiple bridal bouquets whilst racing against the clock, which will impact on the quality of the finished design.
How much should I budget for my flowers?
Firstly, you need to decide how much of an impact you want your flowers to create as you walk down the aisle or enter your wedding reception. Some couples may not care much for fresh wedding flowers, whereas some want their wedding filled with the most extravagant displays and installations of the finest blooms and foliage.
On average, couples tend to spend approximately between £2,000 to £4,000. For guidance, please see my wedding price guide to start building a rough budget.
Can I provide my own flowers or flower arrangements?
My policy is that if you would like me to create beautiful floral arrangements and bridal flowers for your big day, I will supply and make all of your bouquets and displays using fresh, high quality blooms sourced from our reputable wholesalers and flower farms. This is not only to ensure a high quality product, but also to keep consistency in professional design for all of your flowers.
How do we secure our booking?
To secure your wedding day with me, I require a non-refundable booking fee of 30% from your overall balance, which is then deducted from your final balance. I will require the outstanding balance no later than one month prior to your wedding date. All terms and conditions will be attached to your proposal in an email.
How does delivery work?
Delivery charge is based on distance from my workshop and will be stated separately on your wedding proposal. I can deliver up to 1 location (for example the bride's house) plus the wedding venue(s). I usually deliver your bridal party flowers to you 2-3 hours before your ceremony time.
Can I make alterations to my order?
If you have miscalculated the number of buttonholes or you have one less bridesmaid, don't worry, this is completely normal. Alterations to your quote can be made up to one month prior to your wedding date when you pay the remaining balance. Each time you make amendments a new proposal will be sent to you with the updated amounts.
